Affirmations for Panic Attacks

I have personally found affirmations for panic attacks to be incredibly effective. In my case, they were most effective when first beginning to experience a state of anxiety. When used effectively, they helped maintain a sense of peace and calmness, helping to ease worries, and ultimately helping to mitigate having a full blown panic attack.

Helpful Affirmations for Panic Attacks

I am relaxed, healthy, and confident.

Everything is ok.

I am perfectly healthy.

I am relaxed.

I am strong.

I am in complete control.

Let go and relax.

I have all of the time in the world.

While those affirmations were simple to say, their impacts were fairly profound for me!

Often times if I was feeling anxious I would just say to myself "I am perfectly healthy.", and that would help ease that feeling of anxiety.

The main thing with all affirmations is that they are meant to be worded in the positive, and the present tense. They should also focus on the desired outcome or feeling that you're trying to capture.

I also found using affirmations to be very effective while practicing relaxation techniques. For instance, I found it very effective to mentally repeat phrases such as "let go and relax" while doing breathing exercises.

Affirmations help to keep the mind focused on the positive, which I found to be incredibly helpful for panic attacks.
