Caffeine and Panic Attacks
Caffeine and panic attacks... These two definitely do not go well together, in my experience.
Caffeine is one of the things that can have a significant impact on panic attacks -- especially if you consume a lot of it.
The good news is that the amount of caffeine you consume as part of your daily diet is completely within your control.
In my experience I found that it caffeine can increase both the severity, the intensity, and the frequency of the panic attacks.

At the time I was drinking three cups of caffeinated coffee a day.
I was advised by my doctor to immediately reduce the amount of caffeine I consumed.
I gradually went from three cups of caffeinated coffee a day, down to one cup a day, and then replaced regular coffee and caffeinated drinks with their decaffeinated alternatives.
What a difference this made!
The results were much better than I had hoped for, and I learned to enjoy decaffeinated coffee as much as regular coffee.
I still enjoy decaf coffee and caffeine free drinks to this day, and will have the occasional cup of regular coffee.
However, I did not drink a regular cup of coffee or have any other drinks that contained caffeine until I was panic attack free for a very long time.
You may want to try to reduce or completely eliminate caffeinated drinks from your diet.
Talk to your doctor about caffeine and what role it can play in panic attacks and panic disorder, and whether or not they think reducing the amount consumed will be beneficial.
