The signs associated with panic attacks vary from person to person. However, there are a lot of signs that are common among those experiencing the attacks. Some of these are having the racy heartbeat, having cold sweat, being dizzy, diarrhea, and having difficulty in breathing. As you can see, the signs of panic attacks seem to pinpoint to other health conditions. You wouldn’t even think that they are caused by your own fears.
You might not know what is a panic attack because typically signs appear suddenly. One minute you are feeling okay and the next you feel the signs setting in. The thing with these signs is that they appear suddenly and then last for only a few to several minutes.
Because of these characteristics, people often ignore the first few times that they experience the signs and symptoms of panic attacks. What they, or you, would usually do is stop whatever it is that you are doing when the panic attack sets in and rest. Once the attack stops and the signs fade, you will just continue with whatever you were doing before it arrived. For the remainder of the day, you forget that it happened and only come to remember it when you experience it again.
People usually only go to the doctor for when they are unsure what is a panic attack, or when the panic attacks happen more frequently. Usually, they think that they have illnesses. They don’t think that it is caused by their thoughts. Having an intense, if not tremendous, fear over something or nothing is usually the reason why the attacks hit you.
Researches and medical practitioners say that one of the best ways to help lessen, if not get rid, of the signs of panic attacks is to get away from the things that are causing them. Pinpoint the reason for its cause. This act may sound easy but it has been proven to be a difficult thing to do. Why? The signs of panic attacks are heavily associated with you having or developing a fear over nothing in particular. Most of the time, you just end up feeling the fear and not knowing why. The next thing you know, you are experiencing one, two, or more panic attack signs.
